I took my ideas so far and tried to think how the images developed s ofar would mix with type.

Want to generate the brass Idea by drawing the brass instruments, in the conventional manner then typographically.

Just had a little play with how the typeface might work.

Just playing with a few ideas.

Made this typeface for Jazz cats was thinking it could always be used within another enqiry.

Idea generation

After referring to my context and brainstorming my chosen to topic I came up with a spread of rough visual possibilities all relevant to the topic of course, using similar imagery but in different layouts.

This involves differences in colour, application media used i.e. line drawing then vectors.
I will complete as many of these as I can and perhaps overlap certain images where necessary.

More Brand

I generated some vectored versions, I decided that Bouboni was the most appropriate typeface.

For the moment below looks interesting.

I thought up some names don't really want it to be called anything obvious really, just some initial thoughts.

I want a strong type to brand my jazz Club, I had a look and established a couple of types that interested me. At the moment i'm thinking...

JAZZ CLUB

Change of direction / I have scrapped the tree surgeon brief for something that is more suited to my interests. I have decided to do the branding, promotion, and publication for a Jazz club. This will be a bar playing live music I need a catchy name and a strong visual, I would like to capture a younger cliental by making something that is trend as well as traditional.

Branding Development

On this page i have made a Pdf to show all my development of the Jazz key brand.
This post goes through the whole developmental process from the initial brass lounge, to further name development to deciding on the Jazz key theme. From this point developing the shape of the brand + an idea of the sort of type.
