Further Experimentation regarding Layout.....

From previous exploration I have decided that I want to use stripes I feel they are most appropriate for the look of the packaging. On this page I am refining the layout, typography and illustration to work out a the best layout.

Just having a little play with a previous idea mixing the sweets
in between the lines  just to see what it looks like. Will most
probably use this on the back of packaging.

The stripes could effectively wrap around the curve in the dreams.

Perhaps they could be behind the illustration. On this attempt I have gone for a more minimal layout.

This is by far my favourite design I may use element
of this within my final layout.

Experimenting With Layout.....

After looking at flavours and branding I am now attempting to put the two together. My starting point is creating the visuals for sweet jars this will provide the basis of the art work which will be transferred to my other package solutions. I am concentrating on layout and which information is moss important and how I can lead the eye.

Here I have placed relevant info inside the circle

and put the flavour at the base using the out-

lone of a sweet

 Here I have simply sectioned the information by
minimising the info at the top and putting sweet
dreams upon a scroll type shape.

On this attempt I have made the key word dreams
central and used the scroll to contain the favour.

On this attempt I have curved the key word
to mirror the curved edges of the surrounding
branding and flavour.

On these 2 images I have applied stripes to see how this looks as a design possibility. I have used different strokes to see which works dark or light tones in the background.                                                                                            

Finally I have filled the lines in I feel this is the best visual although I would
like to see lighter tones used in the stripes maybe a light blue?

Starting to put it Together....

At his point i am not sure exactly what my range of packaging solutions will turn out to be. All I can do is research my starting point for this line of enquiry which was sweet jars. Basically I am designing labels for sweet jars. I believe this is a good starting point and feel this visuals will aid me at a later on In the design process providing visual for sweet boxes etc.On all these variations I am simply testing out colour, shapes and how I might represent information. This being the branding the name flavour etc using words and imagery.

I believe I am getting an Idea how to represent this information within a design and what fits best on a page.
